Thank you

Thanks to everyone for making the time to come and speak with class teachers and share your knowledge of your child/ren. If you missed the session, please make a time to catch up with teachers, as the information and goal sharing is a vital part of ensuring your child has a successful start to the school year.

The Waterhole project continues to develop. This week students are working with Vanessa Case on their dance moves, and in the art room making the swamp monster. I hope we see lots of students able to participate in the parade and pool sculpture. Andy Rigby came in and we all had a wonderful session making music and chants. It promises to be a great event.

The Swimming Carnival is on tomorrow and we still need some helpers on the day with the BBQ, scoring and helping the House Captains to make sure students make it to their events.

Our focus this week centres around speaking to others with respect: we use the words “Unconditional positive regard’. This means that when we walk in the gate, our school community treats each other in a positive, respectful manner every day. This enables us to build positive relationships within our school community, and to relate to people from a wide variety of backgrounds, accepting each other without conditions.

Congratulations to our House Captains. We look forward to your great leadership tomorrow.

Thank you!

We have received your message and will be in contact shortly.
