Message from the Principal

It has been a big week for some of our students in grade 3 & 5 with their first ever online NAPLAN testing. We have been lucky that our system has worked and allowed students to complete the tasks without too many issues. However I do want to acknowledge that they have all demonstrated resilience throughout the process as Mrs Deppeler and our school supervising technician prepares the computers and work with the NAPLAN system. There is only one more test to complete with mathematics happening on Tuesday morning.

Junior School Council has also been busily preparing for tomorrow’s Walk to School Day. They will be providing fresh fruit for all students to be eaten at recess from their fundraising efforts last term.

Finally we have our Election Day BBQ/Bake Sale/Coffee/Worm Juice/sock stall at school on Saturday! Thank you to all of the amazing people who have donated their time and products to help raise money for our school.

Don’t forget to let family and friends know to bring their loose change as they head down to vote on Saturday.

Regards,

Kathy Callander
